Works great. Hard to get water spots off cleaning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this about a month and it works great. Have to be careful with what kinds of pans you use as they must be magnetic. Only concern is that the top is a little hard to clean when water spots get on there still haven’t found the best cleaning solution to use to get it sparkling.
Not a 30 amp cooktop buyer beware
This is not a 30amp cooktop as advertised. You will not be able to install it. Every step of the way Samsung has let me down in this product.
Disappointed
Stopped working after 1 year
It stopped working a couple of months outside the 1 year warranty period. There was a loud pop and then it wouldn’t power on again.

Solid product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 30" Smart Induction Cooktop a year ago and have enjoyed the quality and function of this cooktop. I never received my cookware that was supposed to come with it, hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, I'm happy I purchased.

Sleek seamless look. Works well.
This cook top looks great and is excellent value. Functions well also and is very sleek. I received compensation for this review, but the review is my own.

Futuristic cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received compensation for this review, but the review is my own My review is in progress. I have not tested the induction cooktop because I am waiting for the cookware from samsung's offer, and the offer takes a very long time in order just to get an email with the code to redeem and also I think it required me to give a review. As soon as I get the cookware, I will provide my full review. But so far, the cooktop looks nice and very futuristic it does make any kitchen look good.

decent power but poor usability and controls
I like the easy cleanup of this cooktop. The surface is all glass and smooth, so it's simple to wipe it down. Unfortunately, my list of dislikes is much longer. In short, I'm not convinced the people who designed this cooktop, particularly the UX, actually cook much at all. Let's begin with starting a burner. It takes three separate button presses (turn on cooktop, select burner, select heat setting) to get started. While this works fine if you're using one burner, it quickly becomes unwieldy if you're using multiple burners. Half the time I find myself adjusting the wrong burner. It's a surprisingly large hurdle after a lifetime of dedicated knobs for each burner. I mentioned that easy cleanup is a plus, but careful doing this while cooking because the it's easy to accidentally brush the controls and change the power. You can sidestep this somewhat by locking the panel while it's on, but the power button will still turn off the cooktop, and powered off it forgets the heat setting. Repeat my first complaint. Yet sometimes the touch panel is not sensitive enough. Presses sometimes don't register or register unpredictably, especially if your fingers are wet or damp. When are your hands not wet when cooking? If you lift your pan off the burner, say to briefly pause cooking, add ingredients, or quickly cool the pan, the cooktop will beep to remind you there's no pan. Wait too long and it'll beep again and power down the burner. While I can see how this might be a safety feature, the first beep seems unnecessary and irritating, and I wish the burner paused for longer before shutting off. The big heatproof area is a tempting space to place pots and pans for any number of reasons. If you leave it on the controls too long though, the cooktop will lock you out with a d0 error. The longer you ignore it, the longer the lockout. Ignore it long enough and you'll need to reboot your cooktop using the circuit breaker. It seems to me that if a cooktop can detect an unintentional touches, then it should just ignore it instead of locking me out. This happened once while I was attending to a baking sheet and I had to interrupt my cooking to go out to the panel to reboot it. The cooking performance is ok, but this is more a critique of induction in general. Yes, water boils quickly, but I think overall it heats more unevenly and is less responsive than gas. This is partially the fault of the cookware. Induction-compatible materials (i.e. iron and steel) are just less responsive than aluminum and copper, and so induction-compatible cookware is just going to be less responsive. I'm using stainless clad copper pan made by Falk, and it's nowhere near as responsive as my old stainless-lined Falk. I think a lot of my complaints could be addressed with analog or non-touch controls with dedicated ones for each burner, but this is surprisingly rare with induction cooktops. At this time, only Frigidaire and high-end cooktops have them. Samsung has one with a magnetic knob, but seems like it doesn't work all that well. If you're an avid cook and considering induction, I can't recommend this cooktop.

Buyer beware;: after care if something goes wrong
Buyer beware: bought this cooktop 9 months ago. Previously owned a GE profile product for over 13 years. The glass shattered already. There is no protection around the edge of the glass top which I did not think was critical but I would never buy another one again with the metal trim. A small crack on the edge continues to crack throughout the cooktop. Awful service techs they are affiliated with and customer service is not help. It will cost me more to replace the glass than to buy a new one. Also as other have mentioned you have to push multiple buttons to turn on the burners which may not seem like an issue but when cooking with multiple burners at the same time, you have keep selecting between the burners as there is only one temp scale which is very inconvenient. It’s a two step process to turn down the heat when something is burning and buttons are not always responsive. Give me a GE profile 100x over this. Multiple call to Samsung about getting another tech in the area but they don’t care. Keep repeating the same one company.

Great Features!
I received compensation for this review but the review is my own. This fits in beautifully along with my other Bespoke Samsung appliances in my newly remodeled kitchen. I connected it with the SmartThings app. My favorite feature is that the app allows me to check if the burners were left on if I am away from the house! No regrets on this purchase

Heats 2x faster. Stop inhaling gas when cooking.
The cooktop was installed today. Working as expected. 2x faster to heat. Extremely easy to clean. Looks way more pleasing than my old gas cooktop. This is my second purchase of induction cooktop, and I am glad I made the purchase. [I received compensation for this review but the review is my own]

Great stove!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love the colour, the options to choose from and induction heats up in no time! Just have to make sure you’re watching what kind of pots and pans you buy

Samsung cooktop review
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love this cooktop, not only did it instantly upgrade the look of my kitchen, it upgraded my cooking as well. The quick heat and cool times are amazing, really help when preparing a meal, and the boost feature is especially helpful when boiling water, it really does boost it.
