Ice build-up on top freeze

User manual and refrigerator comments
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigirator light flickers from on-off-on every few days.Why does it flicker? Page 4 of user manual - "Remove the light shield (if applicable) as shown below" is not defined sufficiently enough. How to replace it with such information? All of us reacted to high frquency pitch sound. Not enough information how to clean dirt from rear heat exchanger in user manual. No nformation on defrosting the freezing compartment and how often. User manual poorly written. Model # sticker has small fonts hard to read without magnifier. No informationon why the refrigerator cooling stays on for hours, I assume it must use less power.

Light bulb not designed to be replaced easily
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I like this refrigerator. It is the size we wanted, the door has a fair amount of storage, it is simple and does what we need it to. It isn't noisy per se, but it does make odd noises occasionally. My primary issue, and the reason I am giving 3 stars, is the lightbulb. I am assuming the intent is that the lightbulb will last the life of the fridge. Ours failed in less than a year. It is very difficult to replace this light bulb, and frustrating that it failed so early in the life of the fridge.

Exterior is easy to clean.

Trust the negative reviews
Review all the negative reviews if you are thinking about buying this junk. The positive reviews likely are just Fluff for sales. The quality is very very low. The US factory this was manufactured/assembled in makes it impossible to remove the protective plastic. Its put on prior to assembly so the plastic is imbedded in all the connecting parts. Also has the internal insulating foam coming out of every crack and space it can on the outside sides, back, and doors. If you are thinking of buying this junk, just make sure you check all the negative reviews and know they are true, Like I said its very likely all the positive reviews are Whirlpool's fluff, the negative reviews will give you a better picture of the fridge to make a decision.
