Frigidaire replacing a very good Kenmore

Our 21 yr old Kenmore wall oven died just before Thanksgiving so need another wall oven to replace it. Did the research and saw the this model: FCWS3027AB had good reviews. It also came with normal baking and convection baking so will gives us time to learn both as old Kenmore was normal baking. So far so good. Fit nicely into old space.

It is a good oven but...

This was a replacement of my 25 years old GE profile Pro. I wanted try something different other than GE since it had key pad issues in past and cost me nearly $600 to fix it. New Frigidaire built well but the display is very small and not always responding. This is some thing that I can tolerate but the cooking suppose to be even no matter which rack being used. Unfortunately this is not the case with this oven. The bottom cooks faster than top rack and we need to rotate the trays. It is also secured only with two screws that display time to time vibrates and makes noise.

Erratic temperature

The reason I was disposing of my old oven after 19 years was because of an erratic temperature. But my new Frigidaire oven is doing the same thing. I said it to $350 and it goes up to 400 or sometimes 350 or set it to 450 and it goes up to 475. It's all over the place. As a big baker, an accurate temperature is critical. But even if I were not big into baking a temperature that far off is just not acceptable. A technician is supposed to come tomorrow and I hope they can fix or replace this. Time will tell.

Good oven - second time around

The first oven delivered had minor door damage and then we found out it was not working properly at all - 2.5 hours to reach 350 degrees and then no stability at all. Fortunately, Lowes, the seller, had seen the door damage and ordered a new oven, which came in several (and I mean several) weeks later. When the first oven was taken out, it was found to be catastrophically damaged, obviously having been dropped from a great height - we do not understand why the installer did not see this!!!! In any event, the second oven seems OK for now but we are very concerned
