i like it so far so good, this is just the first cycle weve been able to complete. my husband hooked up the device so i didnt realize the guys that dropped it off didnt remove and take the shipping bolts with them. i really hope my washer isnt damaged from the load we tried to wash. it seems like an incredible waste to leave those behind for the consumer to just throw away. im sure they can be reused again.

I love that it's a Smart Washer and will message your phone when your laundry is done. There are so many pre-programmed settings for all of your washing needs (including a few steaming options) that the Samsung Smart Front Load Washer makes washing your clothes almost effortless. We were worried once when the water was not draining from our washer, but then we read the manual and realized we needed to check the drain hose; t turns out that a sock got stuck. Once we realized the problem, we were very happy with this Washer's feature. We have noticed if we leave our clothes in there too long, there is a slight odor. We haven't been able to problem-solve that issue yet, but that appears to be an issue on many frontload washers.

The washer not only works great but also looks super nice. I mean ut literally is crystal clear and gives you your reflection like a mirror. It has a lot of great functions for different styles of wash which is really nice. I like the musical alert it gives once the cycle is complete which is super helpful. It's soze is perfect for my family for 4 and fits a good amount of clothes while cleaning them well. Over all very happy with it.

This washer uses very less water. Sometimes I doubt if that much less water is enough to clean the laundry thoroughly. This machine's large capacity is very much useful for larger households or small households with large loads to save energy in both cases. This washer runs very quiet when the machine is in operation, probably this is due to the vibration reduction technology of this product. It vibrates less. I've tried these wash cycles : Bedding, Delicates, Heavy Duty, Normal, Permanent Press. On some of these cycles it runs longer than expected. Those smart control notifications are very helpful. There are lot of cycles and settings which gives much more control over how each load can be washed and they will quickly make sense as you learn about the washer. One annoying thing is once wash cycle is done and when you open the door, water drips onto the floor from door. Hope Samsung considers this in upcoming iterations.

our washer is not working properly, we called the costomer service for repair it took 10 days to send someone to check and finally they said it is the motor and we have to replace it. it's so disapointing, it is not a year that we've used this washer. we should wait another 2 weeks to repair it. zero costomer service, no quality.

This Samsung washer was our first time using a front loading washer for our home and we are so pleased!! The features are so easy to use although the dial may look really simple there are so many customization that can be accomplished between the app and buttons. The sanitize feature has truly helped with removing makeup from my wife's masks were makeup stains always were left on our former washer. The self clean timer is a great addition telling us after 25 washes that it it time to run a clean cycle has been a nice feature that we never knew was needed before, previously I would have to use hot water to "debunk"our old washer. The app makes the already set options go even further and being able to start loads when we are leaving home or when the kids are napping. The washer is truly quiet and easy to setup. The detergent drawer makes using liquid, powder and bleach really easy to separate and not worry about spillage before starting. Our clothes have come cleaner and the sanitation feature have been nice to have in light of the pandemic and being in places that have lot of people coming and going. This was a very smart buy and Samsung did a great job packing this washer with more features than we have used.

Makes Laundry Easier!

This Samsung washer has made the task of washing laundry so much easier!!! I am able to fit more dirty laundry in the washing machine then I was able to do with my previous machine. Not only that, but the machine is so intuitive but I only need to press a few buttons and the settings are perfect! Speaking of the settings, this Samsung machine has so many options that I am able to target specific needs related to my laundry and everything comes out clean and in great shape! When I remove items from the washer at the end of the cycle, not only have they been appropriately washed with stains and any poor odors removed, but they have been spun so effectively that they are not sopping wet. This makes it easier to transfer the items to the dryer and it ensures that the dryer does not need to use a longer-than-necessary cycle to dry the clothes. In the long run, this saves time, energy, and money!

Never thought I would be so ecstatic over having a new washer+dryer, but owning this new Samsung set has been a wonderful experience! First off, the capacity is massive! I can fit 2 king comforters comfortably. I could barely get 1 on on my old washer. In terms of different washing options, this has everything I need for various types of clothes, garments, blankets, etc. Also it has self-cleaning options, which are a dream. Next up, the connectivity options are really cool! I didn't actually see this as a positive selling point of the washer, but after using it, it's a really nice touch. Since we have a Samsung TV, it's all connected. So when the washer is done with it's cycle, it'll popup a quick notification on the TV, letting me know. Same with my phone through the SmartThings app. Last, I LOVE that this washer is efficient. I am a very eco-conscious person, and I like to know that I am minimizing my footprint in everything I do. The one negative I would mention is that like all front-load washers, it can get a bit "mildewy" smelling if you aren't properly airing out after a wash. Luckily, it has the self-cleaning option, so this really isn't as much of an issue. Also, we are in the habit of just leaving the door open for an hour after a wash so that any trapped moisture can escape. But in general, it would be cool to see manufacturer's come up with a clever way to address this in a future set.

This washer is small but mighty! I really like how it take up less space but has the capacity to hold a lot of laundry. I have a big family and I have a lot of laundry so the washer is going all the time, after so many washes it prompts you to self clean. That is not something I think about often so I like that feature. The dials are very easy to use as is the soap dispenser. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a washer.

This washer has been a game changer for us. We needed a washer with a large capacity but in the smaller form factor vs stepping up to the next bigger size. This has met all our needs! With the matching dryer in the same footprint we were able to add a cabinet in between to help organize our wet room like we wanted! With the built in wifi functionality we can start loads during off peak hours to save electricity and on our electric bill. And with the various cleaning modes we can get everything done at home now! Whether it be for sensitive fabrics or heavy linens. Everything comes out cleaner and undamaged! Definitely recommend this washer!

Good washer with smarts

Our last washer was 'smart'...but man was it frustrating. Not so with this one! We were able to set it up and connect it with SmartThings in < 5 min. Now alerts for cycles completions audibly alert us on our smart speakers, a popup on our Samsung TV and notifications on our phones. It also does the 'old fashioned' play-a-little-tune alert on the washer itself, but to be honest, kind of wish it could be disabled (or, if it can, haven't figured that out yet). The cycles we have used have all been great, including the bedding cycle--they came out not dripping wet! We have a 1 year old who goes through clothes like crazy so we've been using this washer almost daily and it's been a rockstar. One real complaint (besides the too-long tune it plays when cycles finish) is that there is a gap up by the door seal and small things can get stuck in it (like a 1 year old's socks) and not go through the spin cycle properly.

Time saving, sleek, and helpful smart features that make this the best washer and dryer we've ever owned. Like most people, washing clothes isn't at the top of my list for favorite pastimes. However, this washer helps make it quick and painless by offering many presets that I can set in an instant and a speed wash feature that gets our clothes done in record time. In addition to being able to make settings quickly, the drum is HUGE and holds a large amount of laundry, so that means less loads and trips to the laundry room. Plus, the drum is big enough to wash a king comforter, which is a huge bonus. Cleaning is the most important thing, but looks are important to us too. This washer looks good online, but it even looks better in person. The paint finish is car level quality, with a shiny gloss that really looks good in our laundry room. The dials and buttons provide great feedback when making setting and feel very high quality that should last for years. Although there are a ton of settings, they're laid out clearly and logically, so with a quick glance, you know exactly what your wash settings are. The build quality is top notch and everything feels high end. If that wasn't good enough, I saved the best for last, because the smart features in this washer make it one of the best integrated devices with our smart assistant and the smart things app. Can't find a preset on the washer that works for your load? Go to the Smartthings app to get a "recipe" for exactly what you need and send it wirelessly to the washer, this feature is awesome and we've used it many times. Working from home and want to know what cycle the washer is on, ask your smart assistant? And, the absolute best feature, you don't need to check to see if your laundry is done constantly or have work shirts sitting in the washer for an extra hour, because you can setup your smart assistant to announce when the cycle is done! So, if you're looking for a washer with literally hundreds of settings that are easily set, that washes your clothes in record time, that's built and looks great, and has actually useful smart features, you owe it to yourself to check out this washer, I highly recommend it.

Fits All Our Needs For A Family of 5

We have owned the washer and dryer set for 2 weeks now and they have worked great for all our needs. We are a family of 5 with 3 little ones and this set has been able to keep up with the toughest of washes for us. The tumbler size has been great for all our load types from clothes', towels to comforters & thicker blankets. We have really put it through the test these last 2 weeks because we had not had a washer for almost 1 month before these arrived, so the first couple days were getting caught up and these handled it all very well. This was easy to use right out the gate with no frustration. I would recommend this set to anyone that is looking to replace their current set or just looking for an upgrade. This washer has been able to handle a lot for us as we needed to do several loads to get caught up. The only issue we ran into was we need to clean out the filter several times which was unexpected for a new washer, in comparison to our previous model we didn't have to do that a lot for the 3 or 4 years we had it. We will continue to watch that, but it's never a bad thing to keep it clean regardless.

Great Smart Washer - A few hiccups

This Washer is above and beyond my former front load HE machine that claimed to be smart. I took about 5 minutes to set everything up and get it on WIFI, after that we were off and running. The machine is very easy to use, and as I have explored the various cycles and settings that can be changed on the app, the washer is now far beyond my expectations. The notification via smart things is extremely convenient, where I used to guess and walk down into my basement to see if the load was done, or how much time was left. This is also a quiet machine, and even when it is in the spin cycle (which can be quite powerful) it does not make much noise or shift like other washers have. Though I try never to put too much in, it has a great capacity. In my estimation, it uses a bit less water than my previous washer. I also like that whatever time estimates are given on a load are very accurate. I was reminded about 4 weeks in to perform and empty load on a cleaning cycle, which is a nice feature to have. Just make sure you don't have any immediate washing needs in the next 4 hours. I will list some minor things I would enhance at the bottom, but overall, I would defiantly recommend this washer. Not only is it mechanically sound, but it produces great results with my clothes, and the smart features put it over the tops. A few hiccups: I have dogs that shed, hair from the close collects at the bottom of the door, so I clean this every few loads. It would be nice if the door could be moved to hinge on the opposite side as the dryer does. The finish on the top of the machine is very sensitive. I have made it a point not to keep much of anything on my set, and the washer is all scratched up. It plays a nice little chime melody when the cycle is done, which would be lovely to turn off, this could be possible within the app.

HUGE WASHER

I love this washer....it is spacious and huge....even though I do not overfill it. The options are amazing, the lines are clean and the control panel is easy to navigate and awesome to look at. I wish I had purchased the pedestals for the set and I still might. I really do love this washer....very quiet and works fantastically!!! I cannot wait to discover all of its features in time...including the smart features!! I really do love this washer and the majority of my appliances are Samsung....I brand I trust and highly recommend!!! I have not yet tried all of the smart features but I love the delayed cycle option and how extremely quiet it is. Compared to some others that I have owned....it's silent!!! I do like that I can use smart features from my phone if I so choose. Everyone in my family and extended family loves this washer!!!

DEFECTIVE DESIGN - Concrete Components

do not buy this washer, it has a major design flaw that samsung is aware about! the drum weights are made of concrete. they work as a counter balance to make sure the drum is balanced. concrete becomes brittle and deteriorates therefore creating an imbalance in the drum resulting in major shaking and banging which will damage your unit. samsung's solution, a refund minus a proration. i purchased the machine on nov 8th 2020, it was delivered on nov 20th, 2020... the issue started the end of november 2021 and i've been dealing with samsung servicing for 2 weeks now. this unit is a several days over the 1 year mark...

Good Smart Washer

Good wifi and smart hub compatible washer. It uses very less water. Sometimes I doubt if that much less water is enough to clean the laundry thoroughly. So far it is doing a good job. One annoying thing is once wash cycle is done and when you open the door, water drips onto the floor from door. Hope Samsung considers this in upcoming iterations. This machine's large capacity is very much useful for larger households or small houeholds with large loads to save energy in both cases. I replaced a top loader with this front loader and could figure out the quietness when the machine is in operation, probably this is due to the vibration reduction technology of this product. It runs quiet and vibrates less.I've tried these wash cycles : Bedding,Delicates,Heavy Duty,Normal,Permanent Press. On some of these cycles it runs longer than my previous machine. Those smart control notifications are very helpful.There are lot of cycles and settings which gives much more control over how each load can be washed and they will quickly make sense as you learn about the washer.

Quiet and Efficient

My previous set was 14 years old and I can't believe how far technology has come! This washer is so quiet you wouldn't even know it's running, but your items come out so clean! I have teenagers that are athletes so there is always a load of laundry going in my house. The heavy duty cycle works really well too really clean the clay or grass stained clothes. I love the bedding cycle and will never have to return to the laundry mat! I love that we can use the app for a later start or alarm that a load has been completed. The dial is very easy to read and use. This is a very user friendly set. All in all, I would highly recommend this set!

I have had this washer for about two weeks now. I have used it for washing my bedding already so I could review that as well. We have two larg dogs that shed. With my other washer I always had larg amount of dog hair still not with this one. Now I'm not saying all hair is gone but a lot!!! And my bedding is clean where before it had a dingy smell I love it. I am truly impressed. Thank you Insiders for the opportunity to review this washer a discounted cost!!

Sleek and black . This machine has all of the smart features I already downloaded the Smartthings app, the Washer is great, clothes co me out super clean. It's very efficient energy wise. Water usage is lower than it all . Love the timed features and all the different wash cycles. I'm still learning all of the things this washer can do. I wish there was an add time button to simply add minutes and a pause that let you open the door to add things you forgot. Indefinitely bigger than I thought it would be. So far so good. My favorite cycle is simply the normal wash, it works the beat for the loads of laundry I do daily. The vibration of the machine is minimal however when winning it is a bit louder than I had hopefully for. I Being able to change wash times, speeds and temperature is a great feature of this machine. I love that I can start the washer from work with my phone. Overal I'm in love of this beautiful washer.

Large Capacity Small Package

We have a smaller wet/laundry room, but have large bedding. The majority of larger capacity washers also had a larger footprint. With this washer we're able to get the large capacity and keep the smaller footprint to wash all our King Size bedding and large curtains. It's been a life saver vs always having to take them to a family members house or the dry cleaners. With the steam clean functionality we've also eliminated 90% of our dry cleaning needs. Lastly, with the smart things app we can schedule the washing for later in the evenings when our electricity costs are subsidized/cheaper saving us a few more bucks. This is definitely a step up from our last washer and we're excited to keep using it!

Energy Efficient and Smart Laundry

I have only used it for a week now but this is exactly what I was looking for. It feels little more depth than I wanted but I had enough room. I connected my washer/dryer to SmartThings app on my Galaxy phone and it provides so many options on the phone. You can control and see status of the current cycle. Will update more! Update: I have been using this extensively for past few weeks and haven't had problems so far with anything. I have mostly used Heavy duty cycles and Bedding cycles for clothing and our bedding respectively. I have also used Self Clean cycle as recommended monthly by instruction manual which is great as we don't have to worry about cleaning manually. Noise level is very low. Unless you are standing close to it, you won't hear them. Dryer is blessing. It has so many option. I have mainly used delicates, normal and quick dry options. Quick dry option is perfect when you have very small load and want to use them in half hour. Moreover, I use eco mode which make it more energy efficient. In Addition, I use wrinkle prevent mode after dryer which perfectly removes wrinkles from clothes. Noise level is pretty negligible. Integration with Smart Things App on phone is also well sync. It notifies when Washer is done, when dryer is completed and has more options and cycles which I will definitely read more into it and use it. Overall, I am very satisfied with these laundry systems and they do more than they are intended to do.
